David HarperManaging Director
I have been working in the construction industry in the early 1980’s before joining Rockwool in 1990 and entering the world of fire protection. Since then a spell at Cryotherm and latterly Grace helped me to learn the industry, product standards and regulatory requirements before joining Sharpfibre in 2000 as Technical Director. Having been privileged to sit on the ASFP council for 21 years, 8 of which were as either vice chair or chairman, I was on the liaison group setting the rules and requirements for FIRAS, the first 3rd party accreditation scheme. In my time with Sharpfibre I have worked on projects from individual homes to many of the UK’s signature projects, offering advice, support and solutions.
A father of three ( plus one step ) grown up children, When not working, you will find me on the golf course or in the kitchen

Barry BeavisSales and Marketing Director
I have worked in Sales for almost a lifetime(!) within several industry sectors including mobile/cellular technology and plant equipment, where I worked for several manufacturers selling and managing teams responsible for selling into the hire market, predominantly.
I joined Sharpfibre in February 2018 with no prior experience in passive fire protection. However, the Sharpfibre team, with their decades of experience and knowledge, quickly helped me to understand the different disciplines within our business and the industry. My passion is to always provide the best customer experience possible and this drives both myself, as well as the rest of the sales team, to always exceed our client's expectations.
Happily married to Wendy, with two grown-up boys and one mischievous Grandson, I love to golf or to ski (depending on the weather!) and to spend time exploring the UK's coast with our tourer and puppy, Bailey.
