Sharpfibre To Attend FIREX International 2014

Sunday, March 02, 2014

Sharpfibre will once again be attending the annual FIREX International event, which this year returns London, having been held at the Birmingham NEC in 2013.  The show is the leading event in the fire protection industry, comprising of exhibitors from protection, prevention and detection.

Last year’s FIREX International saw more than 14,000 visitors attend, with figures likely to increase in 2014.  With the venue being the ExCel Exhibition Centre in London’s docklands, the event is expected to draw more international visitors, thanks to the excellent transport links and hospitality options.

Starting on Tuesday 17th June, the three day event will provide visitors with the opportunity to see and learn more about the most innovative fire safety solutions available, with more than 140 major manufacturers on the exhibitors list.

There will also be over 120 hours of free educational seminars, providing attendees the chance to keep up to date with the most on-topic discussions relating to the fire protection industry.  A new addition to this year’s show will be the use of televisions, which will provide coverage within the event to attendees.

Our long standing partner Promat UK will have a booth at the event, where they will be providing information on their range of passive fire protection products and systems, including DURASTEEL® and DURAWALL®.   The Promat UK booth is to be located in the main hall and will be labelled R805.

For further information on the show, including full exhibitor list and floorplan, please visit the official FIREX International website.
